Bradley Hall Acoommodation Block Official Opening
Easton College opened the new Bradley Hall of Residences earlier today.
The 22 ensuite bedroom residential hall was opened by John Bradley a previous Chairman of Governors in front of audience of past and previous governors and Friends of Easton College.
The new £1 million Hall of Residences has been completed to a very high specification and is available to all students at the College. The College now has accommodation for over 130 students to be in residence allowing students to access the College’s specialist courses from a wider geographical area. The College’s accommodation is available to any student aged 16+ and students are supported by a dedicated team of residential staff who look after their welfare as well as arranging a variety of activities. The College’s provision of residential accommodation is graded “Good” by Ofsted at its most recent ‘Care Standards’ Inspection.
The cost of the accommodation in Bradley Hall – including all meals – is £135.00 for a full week (7 days), and there is support for students through the College Residential Bursary (a means tested award) which can contribute towards these accommodation costs , and in some cases this covers at least 40% of the costs.
Bradley Hall is the 3rd stage of the College’s £20million capital development scheme to reach completion, the college has already opened the new 8 court tennis centre and Sir Nicholas Bacon Equestrian and Animal Welfare Centre earlier last month.
