Easton College launch Rugby Academy

The Easton College Rugby Academy will be starting this September.
The course will enable students to complete their academic studies whilst having the opportunity to improve their rugby skills and further their sporting careers. Students who are likely to be interested in the Academy will already be at club level and have a keen interest in rugby, as well as the commitment to furthering their education.
The course consists of 5 hours of quality Professional Coaching each week, access to the brand new Strength and Conditioning Suite, Dartfish Analysis, Psychology and Lifestyle mentoring whilst having the opportunity to gain additional coaching, refereeing and fitness instructor Qualifications.
Over the past few months Easton College has completed a major expansion to their campus, including the opening of the tennis centre and the new 3G All-weather Pitch. Opportunities for students are always increasing and the launch of the Rugby Academy is one such example. George Caplan, Head of Faculty for Sports and Public Services at Easton College said “this is just one of several player performance pathways that are being launched at the college this September including sports academy lines in men’s and women’s football, golf, tennis and swimming. The college already has an established football learning programme and golf scheme and we are now excited by this next phase in our development.” He added. “We have made a substantial investment in new facilities and now have the infrastructure to support a growing number of sports students”
