Although we are working very differently at this time, with most teaching and learning happening online, our information, advice and guidance services (The Advice Shop), wellbeing services, and library services are still available to all students.

Our Wellbeing team are available to support students.
Our Wellbeing advisers, Counsellors, and Mental Health Adviser are available during normal working hours to offer advice and guidance for anything affecting your wellbeing, not just coronavirus related. If you already have an appointment with us we look forward to supporting you.

Free College Meals and Bursary payments
If you were receiving free college meals or bursary support, you will continue to get financial support during this period. Payments are being made directly to students’ bank accounts.
Students to whom this applies should already have received an email from us about this. If you have any questions about Free College Meals or Bursary payments, please contact email@example.com or by telephoning 01603 731200.
Student finance for university
If you are going to university in September and need financial support, you should submit your application before 22nd May 2020. You do not need a confirmed place on a course to apply, you can use your first choice of course and update your application later if this changes. This will ensure your finances are in place for the new academic year.
The easiest way to apply is online at www.gov.uk/studentfinance. Student Finance has produced a guide and video to help you with the process. There is also a dedicated resource for parents and partners who are supporting applications.
Please email your requests to firstname.lastname@example.org by 2pm each day, making sure to include your student number. Staff will then have your order ready for collection from Main Reception in the Jubilee building by 3pm.
Returns can be left in the returns box in the same location.
If you are self-isolating and have returns that are overdue, please renew via our websites or contact us on the above email addresses. Fines that occur due to isolations will be waived.
