Summary
This top up course explores the nature of sports coaching within various sectors of the sports and leisure industry. Students will gain an understanding of the many different types of work environment within the sector, ranging from working as a self-employed coach, to the related fields of sports development and sports/physical education.

Entry Requirements
240 HE credits (including 120 at Level 5 in a sport related subject) and a successful interview. GCSEs in Maths, English and Science at grade C or above are desirable. Mature students and students already employed will need a range of qualifications, and prior work and learning experiences will be taken into account, accredited and considered at interview stage.
Students with English as a foreign language:
Applications from students from all backgrounds are welcome. We require evidence of proficiency in English (including writing, listening, speaking and reading). Our recognised English Language qualifications include: ESOL IELTS: 6 overall (minimum of 5.5 in any component).
Fees

£8,000 per annum
September 2021, Part-time, 2 years
£4,000 per annum. Students will be required to complete 60 credits (0.5 of the full-time course) in any one academic year.
