BHS inspection of Equine Centre

13th November 2025 – Tags: Equine Studies

The Equine Centre and livery facilities at Easton College have received a string of ‘Highly Commended’ grades in our latest inspection by The British Horse Society.

Not only do we meet the standards needed to be an approved centre, but we have been ‘Highly Commended’ for the standards of our horse care, client experience, tack and equipment, working practice, and livery facilities.

The inspection also confirmed that we are ‘Fully Compliant’ for Safeguarding, while approving our coaching standards, hacking and riding out, and grassland and turnout.

Celia Ahrweiller-Le Gall, Equine Centre Manager, said:

It is really important to us an educational establishment, as well as a livery and host to numerous equestrian events each year, that our horse care, facilities, safety and training are of the highest standards.

The inspection confirms that we meet the required standards to be a BHS-approved centre. This is great news for the horses in our care, and for everyone who learns with us and uses the great facilities we have.

We are looking forward to building on this and to further developing our course offer to meet the needs of horse riders and owners in the county.”
