What You Will Study
Rural Enterprise is a course on the Employment Pathway in Inclusive Learning.
This course is right for you if:
- You enjoy learning outdoors and through practical activities
- You are interested in working with animals, outdoors and in horticulture
- You would like to develop skills for work and adult life
- You want to build confidence and independence
- You enjoy hands-on learning rather than just classroom-based activities.
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Most students will have an EHCP.
How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through:
- Practical activities and observations
- Progress towards individual targets and EHCP outcomes
Course Progression
You could progress onto Ticket, Work Matters Supported Internship, MINT Programmes, a Land-Based Pathway or volunteering opportunities.
Where Your Course Can Take You
This course is designed to support you to develop skills for future work outdoors and to prepare you to move onto a supported internship such as Work Matters.
Fees
If you are successful in gaining a place on this course the college will apply for funding for you to come to college, you will not have to pay any fees.
