Job Description
We are looking for either a full-time or part-time gardener to help maintain our flower and vegetable gardens in Caston, near Attleborough. We have until employed a pair of gardeners who worked as a duo three days a week in the garden, but unfortunately one is now leaving in two weeks, and the other is unwell and so not returning to work. We still have two people who work 3-4 days a week helping to look after our poultry and maintain the lawns and front meadow (which is a wildflower meadow for 6 months of the year). We are quite flexible about the number of days worked, but are looking for someone preferably with a good grounding in horticulture and with a strong commitment to trying to keep the gardens in good working order, summer and winter - including planting, pruning, weeding, leaf collection and when necessary spraying.
Salary
To be negotiated, according to experience - but in line with normal rates for gardeners in our area.
Attendance
Flexible, but would prefer someone for at least 3-4 days a week.
Hours
Flexible, but would prefer someone who can do a 7.5 - 8 hour day (depending on weather).

Special requirements
Must like animals - including poultry (chickens, ducks, geese, peacocks) and donkeys and 2 dogs. Must also be able to work in rough weather.
