Quality Control Assistant required!
We are a potato grower group marketing 70,000 tonnes annually and have a role available for the coming season.
We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and hardworking to join us for from early July to the end of September 2024.
The role is predominantly crop monitoring and yield digging, which utilises new technological developments meaning that samples are now processed in- field, saving time and effort using tablet computers and phone apps.
The role will be paid hourly (£15 per hour) and the expected hours of work will be 08:30 to 17:30 from Monday to Friday. Some flexibility will be required to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner. The office is situated at IP12 2QB, Woodbridge and the role is based in and around East Anglia. A van will be provided for the duration of the role, including getting to and from work.
This is a prime opportunity for anyone wanting to gain experience in the potato industry and gain knowledge of potato quality and marketing opportunities.
The right candidate will also require a valid UK driving licence for manual and automatic vehicles.
