What You Will Study
Aspire 1 is a one-day course in the Aspire Skills Academy.
This course is right for you if:
- You are not ready for a full college timetable
- You feel anxious about returning to education
- You want to build confidence in a classroom environment
- You are not ready to study maths and English yet
- You need a gentle introduction to college life.
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Many students will have an EHCP but this is not essential.
How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through:
- Observation and participation
- Individual progress towards personal targets
- Tutor feedback.
Course Progression
You could progress to Aspire 2 (two days per week) or other Inclusive Learning provision.
Where Your Course Can Take You
This course is designed to support you to make a gradual transition into the college setting.
Fees
If you are successful in gaining a place on this course the college will apply for funding for you to come to college, you will not have to pay any fees.
