Skills for Life is a course on the Supported & Community Pathway in Inclusive Learning.
This course is right for you if:
- You would like to become more independent in everyday life
- You have additional needs and would benefit from a practical learning programme
- You enjoy learning through hands-on activities and enjoy outdoor learning
- You want to develop communication, social and life skills
- You would like to build confidence and prepare for your next step.
Entry Requirements
- There are no formal entry requirements for this course. Most students will have an EHCP.
How You Will Be Assessed
You will be assessed through:
- Progress towards individual learning targets and EHCP outcomes
- Observation and practical activities.
Course Progression
You could progress onto Pathway to Independence or community-based opportunities.
Where Your Course Can Take You
This course is designed to support you to settle into college and to develop skills for when you become an adult.
Fees
If you are successful in gaining a place on this course the college will apply for funding for you to come to college, you will not have to pay any fees.
